Come hear about an innovative, exciting path-to-stats course that can replace algebra courses, ensuring students eventual success in an elementary statistics course by emphasizing density histograms, challenging data-centered exercises, and interpretation of statistical concepts. The structure as well as instructors’ and students’ experiences of the course will be discussed. The presenter has written a textbook specially designed for this course.
