Serina Haddad, Assistant Professor, Rollins College

Serina Haddad is an Assistant Professor at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, with over 10 years of teaching experience. She earned her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management Systems from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses in business statistics, data analytics, management information systems, and operations management across various higher education institutions. She has been recognized with multiple teaching awards, including the prestigious Arthur Vining Davis Fellowship. Serina's research interests center on applied business analytics, organizational systems development, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). She is an active researcher with numerous peer-reviewed publications and has presented her work at national and international conferences. Prior to her academic career, Serina gained significant corporate experience in roles such as statistical quality control, customer relationship management, institutional development, and business process improvement. She also worked as a corporate trainer, a role that played a pivotal part in discovering her passion for teaching—a realization that shaped her path in higher education.

In addition to her academic role, Serina is a freelance consultant, trainer, and digital content developer. She has collaborated with organizations like Junior Achievement, the State University of New York, USAID, the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, and Pearson. She is a primary author of Excel Grader projects in Pearson MyLab Statistics and the lead contributing author to the third edition of Business Statistics by R. Donnelly.
