When teaching a Finite Mathematics course, it can be challenging to maintain an appropriate level of academic rigor, prepare students for future coursework, and pique their interest using traditional teaching tools. However, there are new methods that use innovative technologies to achieve these course outcomes. This talk will discuss ways to harness these technologies both inside and outside of the classroom to increase student engagement and success in applied mathematics courses.
