Teaching about the complexities of gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation is challenging. This presentation will explore evolving definitions, key concepts, and inclusive gender terminology. Best practices for building a classroom environment that is respective and inclusive will be shared. The session will be led by a college human sexuality professor and her transgender undergraduate teaching assistant.
