Mathematics instructors Wendy Fresh and Jessica Bernards have spent countless hours modifying their use of technology in the classroom in an effort to create an optimal learning environment. Using MyLab Math, they’ve examined what types of exercises to assign, when to assign them, how long the assignments should be, and the right settings to maximize student engagement and learning. During this session, they’ll share what works in a variety of class formats including face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses so that students do not just use MyLab Math as a “hoop to jump through” but as a tool for learning.
