Dr. Jennifer Tosti-Kharas, PhD, Babson College
Jennifer Tosti-Kharas is an associate professor of organizational behavior at Babson College. She earned her PhD in management from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and her BS in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Tosti-Kharas’s research explores career development, with a particular focus on meaningful work and work as a calling. Her research has been published in outlets such as Personnel Psychology, Academy of Management Perspectives, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Vocational Behavior. Her research on organizational citizenship behavior toward the environment co-authored with Dr. Lamm received the 2013 Best Micro Paper award from Group and Organization Management. Her research on calling won the 2019 Best Overall Paper award from the Careers Division of the Academy of Management.
Before entering academia, Dr. Tosti-Kharas worked as a strategy consultant at Accenture in New York City, specializing in the communications, media, and entertainment industries. She has appeared as a contestant on the television game show Cash Cab, and officiated one marriage. In her free time, Dr. Tosti-Kharas enjoys skiing, hiking, and seeing live music with her husband and two kids.
