About Conrad Wolfram
Conrad Wolfram, physicist, mathematician and technologist, is strategic director and European co-founder/CEO of Wolfram — the “computation company” behind Mathematica, Wolfram Language and Wolfram|Alpha (which powers knowledge answers for Apple's Siri) for over 30 years. Wolfram pioneers new approaches to data science and computation-based development, with technology and consulting solutions that drive innovation in analytics, software development, and modelling. Working with start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, it spans industries as diverse as medicine, finance, and telecoms.
Conrad is recognized as a thought leader in AI, data science, and computation, pioneering a Multi-Paradigm data science approach.
Conrad is also a leading advocate for a fundamental shift of math education to become computer-based or alternatively introduce a new core subject of computational thinking. He founded computerbasedmath.org and computationalthinking.org to fundamentally fix math education for the AI age — rebuilding the curriculum assuming computers exist. The movement is now a worldwide force in re-engineering the STEM curriculum.
Conrad regularly appears in the media to talk about subjects ranging from decisions and data science to 21st century education.
He holds degrees in Natural Sciences and Maths from the University of Cambridge, UK.

Earn Digital Badges at ICTCM
Pearson is dedicated to providing the tools you need to achieve your professional goals. At ICTCM, you’ll develop new skills you can immediately put to use through sessions focused on integrating educational technology into your courses, and inspiring students in fresh ways.
Digital badges are web-enabled versions of a credential, certification, or learning outcome that can be verified in real-time, online.
How does my certification get displayed as a badge?
We partner with Credly to translate the learning outcomes you demonstrate into badges that are issued and managed through the company’s platform, Acclaim. The technology Credly uses on Acclaim is based on the Open Badge Standards maintained by IMS Global. This enables you to manage, share, and verify your competencies digitally.
What are the benefits of a digital badge?
Representing your credential as a badge lets you share your abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted, and easily verified in real-time. Badges give employers and peers concrete evidence of what you had to do to earn your credential—and what you're capable of.
Credly is the end-to-end solution for issuing and managing digital credentials. Credly works with credible organizations to provide digital credentials to individuals worldwide.
Who is eligible to earn an ICTCM 2021 badge?
Badges are available to all ICTCM 2021 attendees, speakers, and award winners.
How will I know if I've earned a badge?
You’ll receive an email notification from Acclaim (admin@youracclaim.com) with instructions for claiming your badge and setting up your account.
What if I don't want my credential to be public?
You can easily configure your privacy settings using the Acclaim platform. You’re in complete control of the information about yourself that’s made public.
No. Using Credly to manage, share, and verify your credentials is free to badge earners.
How do I ensure my badges are secured and uniquely my own?
While badges are simply digital image files, they are uniquely linked to data hosted on Credly’s Acclaim platform. This link to verified data makes them more reliable and secure than a paper-based certificate. It also eliminates the possibility of anyone claiming your credential and your associated identity.
How and where can I share my credential through Credly?
Every credential and profile on Credly has a unique URL that is sharable via email, on sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, or embeddable on a website or resume. You can also add your badge to an email signature.
What are labor market insights and how can I access them through Credly?
Labor market insights are pulled from live job requisitions. Based on your skills you can learn which employers are hiring, what job titles you might be qualified for, salary ranges, and more. Search active job listings and even apply for them with just a few clicks through the Acclaim platform. Access labor market insights by clicking on “Related Jobs” from your badge details page, or by clicking on the skill tags assigned to your badge.
Will my Credly profile include badges that have been issued to me from other platforms?
No. Credly doesn’t support uploading badges issued by other platforms.
Can I export badges issued from Credly to other badge storing platforms?
Yes. You can download your badge from the Share Badge page. Your downloaded badge contains Open Badge Infrastructure (OBI) compliant metadata embedded into the image. This allows you to store your badge on other OBI-compliant badge sites, such as the Mozilla Backpack.
I should have been issued a badge, but never received a notification email. How can I get my badge?
Contact the ICTCM Events Team and be sure to add admin@youracclaim.com to your email’s safe sender list.
Where can I find support for the Credly platform?
You can find answers to frequently asked questions on Acclaim’s Support page.
