Your Account and Account Credentials
You may create a user account (“User Account”) before using the Pearson Store by providing your first name, last name, and valid email address, and designating a secret and unique username and password ("Account Credentials"). You may have only one active User Account at any given time. You agree to provide only accurate and truthful information when creating a User Account, and to promptly update such information should it change.
You may not create a User Account if you are under the age of 13, but your educational institution, parent, or guardian, may establish an account or register on your behalf. If you are under the age of 18 (or the applicable age to lawfully consent to these Store T&Cs in your region), you may not create a User Account without first obtaining permission from your parent or guardian. You represent that you are of legal age to consent to these Store T&Cs, or have consulted with and received permission to consent from your parent or legal guardian.
Your User Account is to be accessed and used by you, for your personal use only. Unless otherwise permitted by these Store T&Cs, allowing others to access or use your User Account, or your accessing or use of another’s User Account, is strictly prohibited. You are responsible for all uses of the Pearson Store associated with your Account Credentials, whether the use is made by you personally or by a third party due to your disclosure of your Account Credentials.
In order to protect the security of your Account Credentials and the Pearson Store, it is important that you maintain the confidentiality of your Account Credentials. You agree not to: (i) use Account Credentials other than your own; or (ii) disclose your Account Credentials to any third party or service, other than an authorized Third Party Service. You agree to take all reasonable steps to protect the secrecy of your Account Credentials and to immediately notify Pearson at https://support.pearson.com/getsupport/ of any known or suspected loss, disclosure, compromise or theft of your Account Credentials, and/or access codes obtained by you in connection with the Services.
