This online self study course for primary school teachers provides an understanding of the science of Positive Psychology. It offers practical and evidence-based strategies for supporting the well-being of children and teachers. The course involves exploring well-being on a personal level and supplies ideas and practical advice to embed well-being effectively in a whole school setting.
There are five modules in the course:

Synthetic Phonics course
A live online course for primary schools, allowing up to 40 delegates from a school to join a prebooked interactive 2 hour session delivered by one of our experienced phonics trainers. The course is suitable for all teaching staff including teaching assistants from across the whole school.

Our subject specific courses can help teachers and non-subject specialists develop their subject knowledge and skills. These include:
Power Maths courses
Online courses for schools that already have a subscription to Power Maths online. Up to 40 delegates from a school can join a prebooked interactive course split over two sessions.
Alternatively, if your school has already had training and you have new teachers who aren't familiar with Power Maths, there is also a 2 part course running on 2nd and 9th of March 2022 for them.
The courses look in detail at the purpose and approach of the different sections of the Power Maths lesson and how to teach them, and also gives an overview of the Power Maths resources online.

Bug Club courses
Online courses designed for primary schools who have a digital subscription to Bug Club Independent, Bug Club Guided or Bug Club Phonics. Up to 40 delegates from a school can join a prebooked interactive online session. All those attending will be asked to take part in live activities and will engage with the ActiveLearn Platform where Bug Club is hosted.
