Working with Pearson
We work closely with employers on many key aspects of our business, including the design and delivery of our courses and qualifications. Find out more about what we’re doing and how you could get involved.
Meeting skills gaps with BTEC Higher Nationals
Employability is at the centre of our higher-level technical qualifications as we ensure that they align with your needs. There are many ways you can engage with us to bridge any gaps between education and employers, and help develop qualifications which create a skilled labour force fit for your future.
Developing the new BTEC Nationals
We could not have developed our new BTEC National qualifications without the involvement of a range of employers, as well as representatives from higher education and professional bodies. Hear some of our panel members talk about working with us to develop the new BTEC Nationals.
New Apprenticeship Standards
It’s an exciting time for apprenticeships in the UK, and we’ve been working closely with both the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS) and with the trailblazer employers as they work to create the new standards.
Industry partnerships with Pearson College London
Pearson College London offers degree and short course programmes designed to make students employment-ready. The courses have been developed in conjunction with leading organisations such as Unilever, IBM, Lotus F1, Sony Pictures, Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co, WPP, BT and Cisco, as well as leading post-production houses such as Double Negative, MPC, The Mill and Framestore.
Join the Pearson Research Community
We created this online community to keep in touch with teachers and leaders in education because your opinions and feedback really matter to us. This is a space to voice your ideas and opinions on education and Pearson products and services. You will have the chance to participate in discussions, surveys, quick polls and interact with other education professionals. In return we’ll reward you with Amazon vouchers and entry into our regular prize draws.
