Psychology and Allied Health Professionals
We know that many of you are being brave and flexible in what you do, perhaps now working in clinical areas outside your usual practice for the benefit of not just patients, but for colleagues and the wider community. We understand that there may also be some disruption to the services you offer and many of you are now having to think of new ways to administer assessments and therapies. In addition, we recognise that many are returning to the NHS to provide valuable support in either frontline or through a variety of roles in secondary, community and primary care.
We recognise that our assessment products and solutions are a critical part of the services you provide, and we want to provide you with the tools and guidance to support your assessment practice during this unprecedented time where business is anything but usual.
Learning is a powerful route to social justice and a better life, so we are working hard to enable teaching and learning to continue for the rest of this academic year. We know that some of your learners, especially those with Special Educational Needs, may find this new way of learning even more challenging. Find out how we're supporting schools with the resources and tools to keep young people learning during this challenging time here.
Supporting you in your practice...
In this uncertain environment, it’s important that you are able to continue to support your patients, clients or students, even if it can’t happen in person. We want to ensure we can support you in the best way possible over the coming weeks, and we’re working hard to provide you with the latest information and access to resources to help you assist those you serve. With this in mind, we are working on solutions to support you in navigating the new reality and will be in touch once we have more information.
We are continuously monitoring the guidance that is being given by the UK Government and Public Health England to ensure the health and safety of our customers, your patients, clients or students, and our employees remains our number one priority.
To help support you more effectively at this time, we have options for digital or remote administration of our instruments which may enable you to continue to serve any clients who can’t be seen in person, or to mitigate the impact of any disruption to the delivery of our print products and assessments to you or your organisation. Please visit our website for more information.
I appreciate your trust in us to deliver the assessments and services you depend on every day. On behalf of the entire team at Pearson Clinical Assessment UK, I want you to know that you can continue to rely on us to do our best to continue to serve you and support the important work that you do.
My thoughts and best wishes are with all of you.
Head of Pearson Clinical Assessment, UK
