Pearson TQ will be attending GIANT 2016, the global innovation and new technology event at The Coronet, South Bank in London.
The event runs from November 16th – 18th and is focussed on bringing fresh innovative ideas, new technology to those who work within and outside the health sector. A combination of conference and trade show, it showcases leading technologies that enhance innovation and commercial activities.
At GIANT, we will be announcing an exciting new partnership pilot with an established leading UK healthcare institution with our immersive learning technology, Microsoft HoloLens. Further details will be announced later this week, so please watch this space.
Mark Christian, Director of Learning and Innovation will also be running a session on Latest thinking in the use of immersive technologies in medical education which takes place on the second day of the event, November 17th in the Main Auditorium.
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock and San Diego State University have recently also signed up for mixed reality pilots, aimed at leveraging mixed reality to solve challenges in nursing education.
It is a privilege to work with Pearson and Microsoft to develop these educational components for nursing education.
