Hugh Sherman, Dean, College of Business, Ohio University

Since 2008, Hugh Sherman has been dean of the College of Business at Ohio University after more than 20 years of corporate experience including founding and operating a business, serving as vice president of marketing for SMH Corporation (now known as Swatch Watch). As dean, Sherman provides oversight of College programs, strategy, and faculty and staff. Under his leadership, College enrollments have grown nearly 175 percent. For fall of 2015 the College enrolled 2700 undergraduate students and 1000 graduate students. And, the College has developed innovative curriculum providing students with integrative, applied learning experiences which have won national recognition. The College continued to be ranked as being one of the top 38 public undergraduate business colleges in the country.

Sherman earned his Ph.D. from Temple University in strategic management and international business.

Todd Hitchcock, Chief Operating Officer for Pearson Embanet

Todd Hitchcock is chief operating officer for Pearson Embanet and provides strategic and operational leadership for Pearson’s Online Program Management and Managed Services for Community Colleges and is an advocate for educational improvement through innovative technologies. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA), and he has served two separate terms on the Board of Directors of the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL).
