Professor Terry Austin
Terry Austin has been an instructor at Temple College for 15 years, and chaired Biology over a decade. During this time he has taught both semesters of a two-semester Anatomy & Physiology course and transitioned A&P to a fully online offering. He has also transitioned Microbiology into a hybrid offering, where all course components other than lab are fully online. He continues to oversee his online courses and develop and deliver content for his virtual classrooms. Austin holds a BS and MS in Biology from Midwestern State University with an emphasis in Mammalogy, and has completed doctoral work in Neuroscience at the University of North Texas. He is author of several VideoTutor modules for Pearson’s Mastering A&P and is a Faculty Advisor for both Mastering A&P and Mastering Microbiology.
