Use technology-based simulations to introduce complex ideas early, and successfully prepare students to master them.

By using simulations to demonstrate variability at critical points throughout the Intro Stats course, Cornell University’s Paul Velleman has helped students prepare to tackle trickier concepts down the road. In this webinar, he demonstrates how he uses technology-based simulations and resampling to introduce more complex ideas early and often, making them easier for students to understand and reinforcing their learning later in the course.
