Betsy Nixon
Betsy Nixon, Customer Outcomes Analytics Manager at Pearson, conducts educator studies with Pearson technology users to better understand the impact of technology on learning and outcomes. These educator studies help Pearson learn from, document, and share best practices and learner experiences. She has published more than 80 educator studies and several White Papers. Nixon has been with Pearson for 15 years.
Debbie Schmidt, Hocking College
Debbie Schmidt is the faculty advisor in life sciences for the Eastern US and Canada for Pearson. She earned her master’s degrees in audiology and in human anatomy & physiology instruction.
As the lead instructor for A&P at Hocking College, she had such success with Mastering® A&P that she was invited to share her experience with other faculty. Schmidt continued this work joining Pearson full time in 2015 and teaching part time. She lives in Granville, Ohio with her high school sweetheart husband, Mark, their children, Tyler and Chelsea, and their German shepherd, Sadie.
