Revel for History can help you bring unprecedented immediacy and engagement to your History class. Join Coastal Bend College instructor Karl Clark in a 30-minute webinar focused on making the most of Revel in your history course. Clark focuses especially on Revel’s new Explorer Activities, which tell the story of pivotal events through animated maps and images with full narration; and its Interactive Maps, designed to help students visualize events and periods in history, and make clearer connections across time. Clark also shows how you can set up your Revel classroom in as little as ten minutes or less, and use Revel to focus classroom time on the meaningful instruction only you can deliver. This webinar will include time for Q&As.
Professor Karl Clark
Karl Clark currently teaches Government, U.S. History, and World Civilization at Coastal Bend College. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army, with 27+ years in the federal government. He has served with distinction at the Executive Office of the President of the United States-Office of National Drug Control Policy; the Department of State, International Narcotics and Law Enforcement, and at the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Counter Narcotics Division. In 1990, he received the Leo. A. Codd award from the Secretary of Defense for being the nation’s best U.S. Army instructor. Clark holds an associate of arts from Hill College, BS in police science and law enforcement; an MA in political science from Sam Houston State University; and a master’s degree in international studies from The U.S Army Command and General Staff College. He has also graduated from the U.S. Army Military History course.
