This session explores how to set up and fully optimize Revel™ English for your course. We'll highlight how Revel can support your needs and help focus your class time on meaningful instruction. We will also explore Revel resources, including its powerful gradebook, integrated media and assessment, and other dynamic features designed to keep your students engaged with the digital text. We'll save time at the end for your questions.
Mason Pellegrini
Mason Pellegrini is a graduate student who teaches Writing, and studies rhetoric and composition at The University of New Mexico. Over the last academic year, Mason and his colleague, professor Stephie Kang, have been responsible for the transition from print to digital textbooks in the Department of English. This included training faculty, developing tutorials, and dealing with individual student and faculty problems. Mason is a strong advocate for the use of digital texts in the classroom and has used Revel throughout his teaching career.
Stephie Minjung Kang
Stephie Kang is a M.A. candidate and Core Writing instructor in the Department of English at The University of New Mexico. Her studies focus on Rhetoric & Writing with a concentration on writing pedagogy. Her areas of interest are language ideology, critical theory, and composition theory.
