This session dives in to how to use spreadsheets to engage students in Quantitative Reasoning (QR). We’ll focus on context rich problems, including financial and statistical applications that will provide new ideas for problems and projects to use in class. No prior experience with Excel is needed, but even experienced users will take away new ideas for constructing meaningful, engaging assignments. Excel files will be available, allowing you to fully enjoy the experience of exploring mathematics using the powerful tool of spreadsheets.
