In this session Professor Nathan Torno highlights some key updates that were made to StatCrunch this semester — the biggest update to this site in over 5 years! StatCrunch is Pearson’s statistical software that allows users to collect, crunch, and communicate with data. Strategies for using StatCrunch for data analysis with students will also be touched upon.

Nathan Torno, Collin College
Nathan Torno obtained his undergraduate degree in Mathematics and his Masters in Statistics from Texas A&M University. He is one of the primary developers of StatCrunch, a web-based software integrated into Pearson MyLab Statistics, allowing students to quickly and easily analyze data sets from their textbook, as well as providing the opportunity to access tens of thousands of shared data sets, create and conduct online surveys, interact with a full library of applets, and perform complex analyses. He previously taught Statistics courses at Texas A&M University and currently teaches part-time at a community college in North Dallas.
