This is not an internship, but rather a part-time position where students are paid hourly for their work. The Campus Ambassadors serve as advocates, representing the student voice, to help Pearson better meet students’ educational needs.
Campus Ambassadors are instrumental in leading Get Started classroom presentations, hosting tabling events on campus, creating video and blog content, and capturing the student voice from their campus community in a variety of different ways. Travel opportunities are offered on occasion.
The average time commitment for a PCA averages 1-5 hours per week.
Pearson Campus Ambassadors participate in webinars, video conferences, phone sessions, and local trainings led by Pearson professionals. They also are trained, mentored, and managed by a Regional Campus Ambassador.
The term of employment for a Pearson Campus Ambassador is at least one semester/two quarters. Ideally, a Campus Ambassador will work with us for their entire college career and have opportunities to join the professional staff upon graduation.
