VQ Bulletin - Issue 47
Welcome to the latest issue of the VQ Bulletin.
We know that you've had a busy term and that you still have several weeks before the summer break, so this will be the last full VQ Bulletin of the academic year. We will send you brief updates should they be needed, as well as a VQ Bulletin w/c 15 August with Results Day(s) information.
We want to say a heartfelt thank you for the support and care that you and your staff teams have given your students as they have learned, prepared and completed their assessments this year. We are acutely aware of the circumstances you have faced and we are very grateful for your dedication and commitment to teaching in light of them.
This edition continues to focus on supporting you to make sure that your Level 1/2 BTEC Firsts, Tech Awards, Level 2 BTEC Technicals and Level 3 BTEC Nationals Results Day(s) in August run smoothly. Tuesday 5 July is our deadline for the submission of internally assessed unit grades, so please do prioritise the completion of this in your centre so we can ensure timely certification for your learners. In addition, you will find information on Post Results Services, including the Appeals process this year, and signposting for where you can get all the information you may need before and on Results Day(s).
Although we know it continues to be a busy time, we are looking ahead as part of the Level 3 Vocational Qualification reform and we would like to invite you to join our research community to inform the next generation of BTEC Nationals. We want to prioritise the teacher and learner voice in our qualifications and support materials. If you are interested in participating, please complete this form, and we will be in contact shortly. Thank you to those that have already been in touch, your collaboration is vital and appreciated.
Yours sincerely,
Jo Fowler
