At the same time that the government published the KS2 teacher assessment exemplifications, it also published guidance for KS1 teacher assessment, and though most of the guidance was as expected with regards to phonics and reading fluency there were a few interesting points.
The exemplifications for the end-of-KS2 tests have just been released with videos to support the paperwork, and while we’re fairly familiar with the curriculum this is the first time we have seen examples of what those objectives look like in practice. So what have we learned?
We are pleased to announce that funding has been approved for the New BTEC Level 3 qualifications that we submitted in July 2023 as part of the Post-16 Level 3 vocational qualification reform. The 12 new qualifications are across Science, ICT and Computing, Construction, Early Years, Health and Social Care and Engineering and will be available for first teach in September 2025.
These events have been arranged to formally launch the newly developed and funded BTEC Level 3 Nationals and Technicals qualifications.
