What is the WorldSkills Competition?
Often dubbed as the ‘Skills Olympics’, WorldSkills is the largest international skills competition held every two years in cities across the globe.
The competition hosts 1,500 young people from over 65 countries competing in 62 different technical skill disciplines, ranging from engineering and technology to creatives and hospitality.
31 of the finest apprentices and students from across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland have been selected for Team UK and their training for the international competition is well underway.
