From technical learning ...
T Levels are two-year, Level 3 technical qualifications that offer a practical, career-focused alternative to other post-GCSE qualifications. They:
- are equivalent in size to three A levels
- attract UCAS points and are recognised by universities
- combine classroom learning with a substantial industry placement.
With a focus on vocational skills, T Levels provide a high-quality route into employment, an apprenticeship or further/higher-level technical study.
... to real work experiences.
Learners connect what they study in the classroom with real workplace skills through an industry placement. This includes:
- an industry placement of at least 45 days/315 hours
- built-in flexibility in how and where placements are completed
- practical, industry-relevant content that helps build employability skills.
Developed in collaboration with employers and education providers to help learners build the knowledge, confidence and practical skills they need for their next step.
