LTSE Conference 2026 - Lucky Draw Terms & Conditions

By entering this competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Pearson Education Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 00872828, with its registered office at 80 Strand, London, WC2R 0RL, United Kingdom ("Pearson Higher Education").

2. Eligibility

  • This competition is open to individuals who are currently educators and who visit the Pearson Higher Education exhibiting stand at the LTSE Conference in Manchester on 18 and 19th of May 2026 (the "Event").
  • Employees of Pearson Education Limited, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
  • Entrants must be residents of the United Kingdom and aged 16 or over.

3. Competition Period

The competition will open at 8:00 BST on Thursday, 18th May 2026 and will close at 23:59 BST on Wednesday, 20th May 2026 (the "Competition Period").

4. How to Enter

Participants can enter by signing up for the Pearson Higher Education newsletter at the Pearson Higher Education exhibiting stand during the Event. Providing a valid email address is required for this entry method.

5. Prizes

The following prizes are available to be won:

  • Three (3) x £100 M&S gift cards (“Main Prize”). These will be sent to the winners via email to the email address provided. Pearson Higher Education reserves the right to substitute the Main Prize with a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond its control.

6. Winner Selection

  • Winners will be selected by a random draw from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period.
  • The draw for all prizes will take place within 14 working days of the Competition Closing Date.

7. Winner Notification and Prize Claim

  • Winners of the £100 M&S gift cards will be notified via the email address provided during newsletter sign-up.
  • Winners will be required to respond to the notification within seven (7) calendar days of the date of the notification to claim their prize and provide any necessary contact details for prize fulfillment.
  • If a winner fails to respond within seven (7) calendar days, or if they are found to be ineligible, or if they refuse to accept the prize, the prize will be forfeited, and Pearson Higher Education reserves the right to select another winner through a further random draw.

8. Prize Delivery

  • The M&S gift cards will be emailed to the winners within 30 working days of the winner claiming their prize.

9. Publicity

By accepting a prize, the winner(s) agree to participate in reasonable publicity related to the competition, which may include the use of their name and image in promotional materials.

10. Data Protection

Any personal data collected during the competition will be processed in accordance with Pearson Higher Education's privacy policy, which can be found at our Privacy Policy. By entering the competition, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data for the purposes of administering the competition and fulfilling the prizes. By entering the competition, you will also agree to receive occasional marketing emails.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pearson Higher Education excludes all liability for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrant arising out of or in connection with the competition or the prizes.

12. General

  • Pearson Higher Education reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the competition or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.
  • The prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered for the Main Prize. Cash alternatives for the Nando's gift cards are not offered.
  • In the event of any dispute regarding the competition or these Terms and Conditions, the decision of Pearson Higher Education shall be final and binding.
  • This competition and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
