#DiversityInLit Conference 2020

Events

In November 2019 we held our first #DiversityInLit student and teacher conference, where we were joined by some of the authors from the new Pearson Edexcel GCSE English Literature text additions.

Unfortunately, this year we've had to cancel our Conference where we were looking forward to even more of you joining the debate around the diversity of the literature available to study at GCSE. Stay tuned for updates about our new date for 2021 and read about last year's event below.

Plotting Ahead... Diversity, inclusion and belonging

Introducing the first of our Plotting Ahead Roundtable
series, brought to you by the Pearson Literacy and English team. Chaired by former teacher, inspirational speaker and author, Jaz Ampaw-Farr, this event hosted educators, charities, publishers and leading influencers as we investigated how we can shake up the narrative and influence future change within children's literature in the UK.
