Inclusivity Partnership with Dynamic Trianing
Pearson work closely with Dynamic Training, who are an apprenticeship training provider for the Health, Adult Care, Education and Business sectors.
Dynamic for the past 5 years has been working in partnership with supported employment services and employers to deliver apprenticeships to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
Having successfully delivered apprenticeships in childcare, support in teaching and learning, business and administration and adult care to name a few. The successful partnership has shown, with a supported model of delivery, how inclusive apprenticeships should be. See here for the full details:
More and more employers are working with providers to enable opportunities for this underrepresented workforce. Not only do apprenticeships provide employment, but also an opportunity to really develop specialism or technical skills enabling an individual to progress within their chosen career.
Digital Skills in Health and Social Care
Digital skills have been highlighted as a key learning and development priority for care workers.
As an employer/provider we would welcome your views on the digital content and skills that need to be taught and assessed within Health and Social care qualifications.
We would appreciate if you could complete this short questionnaire by Friday 26 November 2021:
Once agreed content has been established, it is our intention to embed Digital Skills content as optional units in Health and Social care qualifications to enable the development of the workforce.
End Point Assessment | New Apprenticeship Funding Rules
There have been some clarifications and new rules specific to end-point assessment, from August 2021 to July 2022. New Rule - Dialogue with the end point assessment organisation must commence at least 6 months before the planned end date of the apprenticeship.
To coincide with this rule – please ensure that apprentices are registered on ACE360 within this time frame. This will support our capacity planning and ensure you benefit from up front support.
New Rule - To reflect that the employer must both select and negotiate the price with the EPAO at least 6 months before the apprentice reaches the gateway. Download full details:
ACE 360 Data – Expected End Dates
Please ensure that the expected end dates listed in ACE are accurate and if different, are updated to reflect this.
This helps ensure that apprentices can access assessment when it is most needed. For guidance on how to do this, please refer to the Updating the apprentice Gateway document within the Knowledge Base.
