We understand that in-person sessions may not be possible right now.

Telepractice enables you to continue to provide care, by applying familiar online technologies to connect you to your students in a virtual session.

If you decide to use remote sessions, you must consider all the surrounding issues related to this change in service-delivery method.

Q-global

Q-global is our web-based administration, scoring and reporting system that enables you to administer a selection of assessments, remotely or via telepractice, so you can continue supporting your clients during social distancing. Q-global also allows you to input results from paper-and-pencil assessments to generate scores and produce accurate comprehensive reports.

Remote testing

Any assessment within the Q-global Product Matrix, that states the word ‘Pay Per Report’ under the ROSA column header, can also be administered remotely via a secure email generated by the practitioner on the Q-global platform and sent to the patient/parent for completion. Any assessment that states ‘Pay Per Report’ under the OSA column header can be administered via your own laptop or tablet device.

Standardised scores can help you provide evidence of ability in key areas for your students’ access arrangement and Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) applications. Schools and colleges trust us to provide them with reliable measures, including the WIAT-III UK for Teachers, WRAT5 and DASH.

Shining a light on communication champions

The Shine a Light awards for the Hello, national year of communication have been a milestone mark in our calendars over the course of this year, and yesterday the inaugural event finally arrived!

On the 10th Floor of the Strand, over 120 people came together to celebrate their achievements and hear the anticipated results of their applications, submitted back in August. The setting offered fantastic views over the Thames where the lights from surrounding buildings and the London Eye lit up over the afternoon as the sun disappeared. We were also lucky to have a surprise celebrity host, TV and radio presenter Vanessa Feltz who brought to the ceremony enthusiasm and warmth for the subject, and worked to really make every award winner and finalist feel special.
