Artificial Intelligence is transforming existing roles, not just creating new ones. This apprenticeship helps people use AI and automation to improve productivity, reduce repetitive tasks and support responsible technology adoption.
It supports workforce transformation by developing people who can apply AI-enabled tools within real operational settings and unlock new opportunities for growth.
AI & Automation Practitioners are not expected to be AI researchers or software engineers. They identify where AI and automation can add value, support colleagues through change, and help organisations use emerging technologies safely, ethically and effectively.
For employers, this apprenticeship offers a practical way to build AI capability across the workforce, whether learners are starting out, moving from another digital or business role, or building on existing industry experience.

I'm really enjoying my apprenticeship, meeting other colleagues that are on the programme in our classroom sessions and having that independent time to go away, do our own coursework and then meet again.
