This apprenticeship standard develops individuals who already operate with many of the core behaviours and responsibilities of a first line leader, particularly within clinical support services, corporate services, estates, diagnostics and transformation or quality improvement teams. The apprenticeship supports professionals driving improvement across their organisation, strengthening their problem-solving abilities and applying them in areas such as compliance, change management and team development.
Key responsibilities
Engaging team members in the identification of improvement opportunities and implementing relevant counter measures and controls. Initiating and facilitating improvement activities through to confirmed resolutions and providing expertise in business improvement methods to your organisation, particularly in environments where patient safety, service reliability, and compliance are critical.
