Where an alternative format copy of one of our Higher Education, related professional or Pearson English publications is not available to purchase, we’ll provide print publications in an accessible format (if available from our archive) so that students with a print disability can access them. This will consist of an electronic file that can be adapted by the requesting institution/organisation to meet the student’s needs. The electronic files will be sent in PDF format by means of our online file-sharing software. The primary file format is unlocked PDF. Audio files are not available and we do not publish large print editions of our publications.
The request must be made by the educational institution that the student is registered at, using our alternative format request form below. The material is provided to enable educational institutions to adapt the text to meet students’ needs. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to increase the font size of the text or to provide technical advice or guidance on converting or adapting the file format.
It may take up to 4 weeks to fulfil your request. If we are unable to supply the requested files we will do our best to let you know within 7 days.
