Why choose Foundation Certificates

Level 2 Foundation Certificates are one-year vocational qualifications designed to help learners strengthen their understanding, develop essential study skills and build the confidence they need to progress to Level 3 and prepare for future success.

• Designed for learners who are not yet ready for Level 3 study.
• Supports progression to V Levels, T Levels, A Levels or other Level 3 pathways. 
• Delivered as a one-year vocational qualification. 
• Expected for first teaching from September 2027.

Why choose T Levels​

Pearson are the only Awarding Organisation ​that offer the T Levels in the Digital sector. ​

T Levels are two-year, full-time  programmes equivalent in size to three A levels for students wishing to focus exclusively on their preferred technical subject​.

• Employer SetProject (ESP)
• Occupational Specialism
• Industry placement (minimum 315 hours)
• Assessment through exams, ESP, and Occupational Specialism Assessment, which include project-based assessments.

A level qualifications offer students the chance to explore subjects in depth and build strong academic skills. Typically taken by learners aged 16 to 18, they develop analytical, research and problem‑solving abilities that support progression to university, apprenticeships or skilled employment.

A levels can be combined with vocational qualifications in a mixed programme of study.
