Okay, so we can imagine that and we really have to use our imaginations because this is not going to be perfectly square shaped. Okay, that's labeled one and then next card label two and so on. Four more. So we've got six cards and they're put together to form a small box with equally shaped sides. Okay, so 123 and on the back of that is four. The bottom is five and the back here is six. So that's a cube that's like a dice. So we've got we've got a cube with one through six on it. Okay. And we want the probability of rolling this cube. This dice and getting a number greater than two. Okay, we've got greater than two. So it could be three or four or five or 60. But less than five. So it's not going to be five and it's not going to be six. It could be three or before. We want to know the probability of getting a three or four. Well now let's recall from previous lessons that when we've got the probability of an event or p of E that's going to be in the numerator. The number of outcomes in our event divided by the number of outcomes in the sample space. So let's look at what that means for each of these, the numerator and the denominator. The number of events. Number of outcomes in our event. Excuse me. The number of outcomes in our event is two. It could be a three or it could be a four. So that's two possibilities. The number of outcomes in our sample size or in our sample space. Well, those were six different outcomes. There were six different possibilities. So we've got two divided by six. We can reduce that the probability of getting greater than two, but less than five is going to be one third. We look at our answer choices and that matches with answer choice. A well done.
