Hello everyone. And in today's video we have the following problem. Most hormones in your body are regulated by blank mechanism. So let me just quickly tell you how most hormones are regulated and it's a very simple loop that we can visualize here. It begins by a stimulus. So let's say that our body begins overheating or our temperature begins to go up because we are running or because we're sick. And so when that happens that counts as a stimulus. The stimulus will be deciphered by receptors. Let's say that we have temperature receptors which will analyze this information and send it over to these defectors that we have in our body to create an action to create something that can counter that stimulus, that temperature increase. And these defectors could be for example these sweat glands that we have. The sweat glands will receive information from the receptors and start the sweating process, releasing heat and allowing us to cool down. This will be battling the previous increase in temperature that our that our body had allowing us to go back to homeostasis or use the natural state of our body. If the stimulus continues then the loop will continue until this temperature increase is eliminated. And so this is called a feedback mechanism because these defectors are acting from a stimulus and they are directly targeting it. They're acting as a feedback to these initial stimulus. And so we're going to highlight answer choice B as being our final answer. And just for some extra information, this is actually a negative feedback mechanism. And the reason why it's a negative feedback mechanism is that the stimulus is being reduced by it. So these defector is creating a response that is decreasing or eliminating these temperature, increase their negative feedback mechanisms. There are positive feedback mechanisms. Negative feedback mechanisms are usually the most prevalent ones, so those are going to be the final answer.
