So this is going to be an example of a Wolf Kitchener reaction based on the starting materials and reagents that were given. Right? So the wolf Kitchener reduction is um it's going to involve a de oxygenation of your all the hydro ketone. Right? So that oxygen of the car bottle is no longer going to be present. And you are left with a regular alcohol carbon instead. So what's going to happen here is that this car bottle from your ketone is going to become a regular CH two group. Right? It's going to be reduced down to an all kill carbon. So if I go ahead and I draw out our five member ring here followed by our carbon chain, notice how now The carbon that was originally your car bottle is going to be a regular CH two group instead. And it's also worth mentioning that what we have on the left side of this molecule here is an acetone, right? And a settles recall or the protecting groups of all the hides and ketones. So they're um they're considered protecting groups because they would not react under conditions like the Wolf Kissner reduction. Right?
