So we have a temperature Of a tube that holds 1.65 middle leaders of nitrogen gas that has been lowered from 119.1°C to 3.50°C. We are then asked to calculate the volume at that final temperature. So first you want to recall what variables were working with and we're working with volume and temperature. Therefore we know that we can use Charles law which directly states that the initial volume is proportional to the industry temperature equal to the final volume, that's proportional to the final temperature. Now, just what units we have our temperature in. We have them in Celsius but with gas laws we need them to be in kelvin. So we take our initial temperature which is 119 .1°C. And we add 317 .15 Kelvin. That gives us 392 point 26 kelvin. We do the same with our final temperature. We take 3.50°C. And we add 273.5 Kelvin Giving us a final temperature of 276.65 Kelvin. As for our other variable volume, We have our V1, our initial volume which is 1.65 male leaders.
